| TCO, the Swedish Confederation of Professional Employees, developed criteria for officeequipment in the fields of emissions, ergonomics, ecology and energy. This voluntary certification confirms a product’s compliance with those requirements that are applicable. TCO started promoting the voluntary TCO certificates in early 1980s with MPR labeled CRT monitors with low electromagnetic radiation in the near-field range. Since then successive labels reflecting additional requirements have been introduced, for example TCO 95, TCO 99, TCO 03. | |
